Dabba aka Lunchbox

This is one of the highly rated Indian movie of this year. And it so deserves to be! extremely simple, with moving performances and an ensemble of all noteworthy, the movie has it all. The movie explores the urban loneliness, the loneliness after losing a partner, the loneliness of spouse of a cheating partner. A bored housewife, a not-seen-on-screen but heavily present neighbor, an about to be retired old man, a new man with a new bride and a scooter,

The movie begins when the lunchbox is wrongly delivered to Irfan khan-a man who has worked in boring claims department throughout his life and has boredom written all over his face. The only delight in his life is the afternoon lunchbox and the letters that come along with it. while she writes in Hindi, he replies in a stern English. While she musters the courage to come to meet him, he plans to leave for Nasik.

The movie is a daastan-as I have recently learned, has no end but it indeed leaves you with a smile

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Well, for so long, I had waited to watch this movie. Audrey hepburn in LBD holding a cigarette is perhaps one of the most famous image of this movie. Yes, she is elegant and poised. She is what everyone fashionable woman would want to be and she carries herself with much elan throughout the movie.

But somehow, the movie does not make sense at most of the places. She is a happy-go-lucky person and Fred is a madly-in-love-does-not-care-about-anything guy, but for me, it was difficult to establish the love. To feel that Holly Golightly who is ready tot hop onto a flight to Brazil will suddenly realise she is in love with this man.

It must have worked wonders for Tiffany's for sure. The blue boxes, the helpful attitude of staff must have done some strong brand building for them. classic!

Watch it if you want to watch Audrey hepburn is her elegant dresses. watch it for a classic. Watch it for moonlight!
