In the mood for love:

Considered as one of the greatest romantic movie, In the Mood for love is a saga of heartache, longings and separation. Set in 1960s Hongkong, the movie is a story of two people who meet and fell in love when their partners cheat on them. While in her silk-gossamer dresses Maggie is Audrey Hepburn-like Diva, Tony with his sympathetic face plays the role of a smitten lad really well. The conservative society of Hongkong is established when Maggie throughout the movie is addressed as Mrs. Chan, Interfering neighbours, morality lectures and constant attempts by both of them to meet at a distance away from home.

The highlight of the movie is cinematography. Each frame is beautiful. The flowery dresses, the green lunchbox, the use of mirrors for portrayal of different angles, the beautifully shot Wangkor wat makes the movie a delight to watch. The haunting music gives the movie its soul.

Beautiful story weaved in with cinematographic craftsmanship definitely sets the mood for love!
